Organised by the esteemed Amravati Cycling Association, the Muktagiri Cycle Ride presented a delightful confluence of cycling enthusiasm, nature’s grandeur, and the tranquil charm of spiritual heritage. With a healthy mix of 60 participants including men, women, and youngsters, the ride was not just an event but an experience to cherish. With the early morning flag-off in beautiful monsoon day as the backdrop, the cyclists, full of josh and vitality, congregated to embark on the 64 kilometres ride. It was a diverse group with seasoned pedal-pushers and fresh-faced novices, all held together by their shared passion for cycling and an unyielding spirit of adventure.The journey through the rain-kissed routes from Paratwada to Muktagiri was nothing less than a visual treat. The Monsoon season had breathed life into the foliage around, transforming the terrain into a lush, verdant tapestry. From the gushing streams to the rain-drenched farms and the vibrant hills, it was an ode to nature’s undying beauty. The gentle pitter-patter of raindrops and the sight of the occasional vivid rainbow added a mesmerising hue to this soulful journey.The ride, though challenging given the terrain and weather, saw no dip in the participants’ enthusiasm.
